In the meantime, the administration returned Camelot’s $50 million bid security payment. The company plans to replace it with a $50 million promissory note if the administration decides to try to continue to pursue the privatization, Meuser said. 

 If the contract had been executed, that bid security would have been used to pay consultants’ fees that are said to be no more than $30 million and the remainder would have been returned to Camelot…  (more)

EDITOR: Such a shame.  Here both Republicans and Democrats were salivating in anticipating of gobbling up $30 million in fees, perhaps the real impetus behind this well orchestrated  proposal that Tom Corbett sprung on the public out of the blue.
