Franklin and Marshall rebuts CAARRT attorney’s criticism

In a published Letter to the Editor, attorney William Cluck stated F&M will not provide a courtesy copy to CAARRT, the community group identified in F&M’s own plan as the organization designated for public outreach and comment. They want to charge $250 for a disc with the report on it.”

A NewsLanc reporter spoke with a media contact for F & M who said that, in addition to being available at the MT municipal office and library, the report is also hosted online for public review at  the following link.

She further indicated that if a personal disc is desired, members of the public would need to contact the ARM consulting group, which conducted the study. She confirmed that their cost is, indeed $250, but could not speak to why the price tag is so high, since this number is imposed by the contractor.

  1. This is not a rebuttal. CAARRT requested a copy of the report weeks ago before it was posted on F&M’s web site this week. In fact, F&M actually confirms the price requested for a copy of the report.

Department of Environmental Protection will be holding a public meeting to accept public comment. Stay tuned for details.
