For some, the AG’s findings on the Hershey Trust Co. are a chance to move on, to others, a disappointment

HARRISBURG PATRIOT-NEWS:  …At the conclusion of the two-year investigation, the attorney general’s office found no fault with the trustee’s actions. No breach of fiduciary duty, no wrongdoing. There will however be reforms, governing how the interlocking boards interact, and how much trustees are paid….

The alumni association said it was pleased about the change in board compensation, and he cutting over overlap between board members at the trust and both the Hershey Co. and Hershey Entertainment & Resorts companies… 

Pablo Eisenberg, a Senior Fellow at the Georgetown Public Policy Institute, who has written about the trust for the Chronicle of Philanthropy, characterized Kane’s report as a “whitewash.” …  (more)
