Flight MH370 families start whistle-blower fund

USA TODAY: Relatives of passengers on Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 are launching a crowd-funding campaign to raise a $3 million reward for a whistle-blower to expose key information about the investigation, the partner of a missing passenger told USA TODAY.

A $2 million fund for private investigators to follow up leads is also being raised.

EDITOR: As we commented last week, we were told by a recently retired Australian aviation consultant whom we dined with on a cruise that he believed this was a case of mass murder by the pilot, similar to what occurred with a Asian flight several years ago. The investigation needs to focus on the state of mind of the pilot and, if he was having serious problems, possible negligence by the airline.
