Finding time for gun lobby

SCRANTON TIMES-TRIBUNE EDITORIAL: As usual, after taking a six-week vacation, state lawmakers raced through their last two weeks and headed off to campaign. They couldn’t find time to deal with huge issues such as pension reform and ending the state booze monopoly.

They did manage to carve out some time, though, for the National Rifle Association.

The House was expected to pass today a bill approved by the Senate last week that would give the gun lobby or its proxies automatic standing to bring lawsuits against any Pennsylvania municipality that adopts any gun-related ordinance not to its liking… (more)
