Ex-Penn St leader asked to detail defamation claim

SALON / AP: he man who led Penn State’s internal probe into the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal wants the school’s former president to elaborate on claims that he was defamed during the investigation.

Ex-Penn State President Graham Spanier is suing former FBI director Louis Freeh, who led the investigation, for defamation. But he has also requested that the civil suit he filed be put on hold while he defends Sandusky-linked criminal charges.
