Error in judgment

From the OBSERVER-REPORTER:

…Judge Leslie Dutchcot rejected a request by prose cutors that Sandusky be held on $500,000 bond and be required to wear an electronic monitor when freed. Instead, she allowed him to walk out of her courtroom on a $100,000 bond that required no collateral, and no monitoring…

It turns out that the judge had donated to Sandusky’s Second Mile kids charity and had even volunteered for the group…

At the very least, Dutchcot should have advised the attorneys on both sides of her past involvement with the organization and given them an opportunity to seek another judge to consider the matter…

EDITOR: Even the judge is either blinded or intimidated.  The entire criminal justice system from bottom up failed to do its job.
