Downtown needs a ‘major’ attraction to draw overnight guests on a consistent / regular basis. Seven days a week gambling will fill that bill, like nothing else will.
I wonder how many ‘return engagements’ the CC is booking after ‘first-timer’s’ experiencing the nightmare of unloading/loading docks/street access, and lack of convenient parking for anything larger than a car or pick-up truck. This facility had so many design and operational flaws from the outset.
The saving grace is that LNP can look out their ivy covered windows everyday and see this White Elephant they helped create.

There isn’t.
Just as with alcohol, the State considers you a child, incapable of handling your vices, unless of course they can profit substantially from it.
I’d love to see gaming here in Lancaster. That way I wouldn’t have to drive an hour an a half for an enjoyable evening of responsible entertainment.
