Does LGH turn patients away?

The last 2 paragraphs of the newsletter are priceless!

Ironically, Alex Henderson says on the front that LGH”serves everyone who comes in our doors whether they have insurance or the ability to pay”, and a regular at market told me Tues. a.m. that she had a friend withdrawing badly from heroin and the addict  was turned away at LGH, recently, for help.

The same doctors who sit on the board at LG and prescribe the opiats to tens of thousands [often becoming “Pharm” junkies] somehow view those addicts as patients yet percieve street addicts as sub-human and not worth their care.

EDITOR: We have no way of knowing what the contributor means by “Pharm junkies”, but if the person thinks that prescribing narcotic medications to persons suffering severe pain turns them into drug addicts, the person is mis-informed.
