    Foreign products from many countries do not follow the health and safety standards of the U.S. (that’s why they’re called 3rd world countries). Products that cause injuries often end up in product liability lawsuits.

    Unfortunately more subtle injuries like heavy metal or pesticide poisoning may not develop for years to come and so pose a risk to a large number of people. This is one of the reason we have a government – to protect us.
