Costs of Jerry Sandusky case investigation mount as probe continues

HARRISBURG PATRIOT-NEWS: …To date the , [H. Geoffrey Moulton],Widener Law School associate professor’s salary, benefits and expenses tally just shy of $120,000, according to information provided by the office through a Right-to-Know request.

Other Attorney General staffers are assisting Moulton on an as-needed basis, but Attorney General Kathleen Kane told a state Senate panel that work is being done as part of their regular duties, so that has not been broken out as an added cost of the investigation.

No outside contractors have been hired “due in large part to the confidential nature of grand jury proceedings,” stated a letter from Chief Deputy Attorney General Robert Mulle included in the office’s Right-to-Know response… (more)
