Coroner’s report re Jonathan Luna death still impounded

Stirred by an editorial in the Intelligencer Journal favoring the rights of the media to see coroners reports, NewsLanc inquired of William Keisling, author of “The Midnight Ride of Jonathan Luna”, whether he was successful in obtaining the Lancaster County report pertaining to the death of the assistant U. S. attorney. Below is his response:

“I already filed a right-to-know law request for the autopsy report. Both the request, and an appeal, were denied last year.

“Lancaster County denied releasing the autopsy report, among other reasons, because a federal grand jury has been convened.
