News reports indicate that Corbett launced an investigation in 2009, which is when, I believe, he has publically stated he first became aware of allegations against Sandusky.
It will be very interesting to see if this date changes as the true story unfolds. Corbett’s chastising of others for their failure to act may, in retrospect, seem to have been a bit disengenuous.
