Corbett blasted Rendell for renovating Capitol Complex; now seeks $55 million for repairs

PATRIOT-NEWS:  When he was running for governor, Tom Corbett attacked former Gov. Ed Rendell for wasteful spending in a campaign ad. 

As an example, Corbett cited the Rendell administration’s spending of $45 million to renovate the Irvis Office Building in the Capitol Complex.

As governor, Corbett regards the $55 million he plans to spend on renovating state office buildings as “a different story.” He said it is essential.

Democrats call it something else: hypocritical…   (more)
