After slightly exceeding its overall goals in the first half of 2010, the Lancaster County Convention Center only met 60% of its goals during July of 2010.
As of today, out of the last three events booked for the downtown convention center which were open to the public, two had less than half of their expected participation, and one event (a gift and jewelry show) canceled completely due to lack of interest. A 3-day reptile show only drew about 500 people, and a dance competition canceled three of its five scheduled days.
