Maybe it’s about time we hear from S. Dale High and John Buckwalter on the “white Elephant”. Or are their heads in the sand??
This project is going to be an economic drain on Lancaster City and Lancaster County for generations. I’m not surprised that there are delays and apparent confusion as to the reasons behind the delays. This group has been less than forthcoming since the inception of this albatross, and the public is left ‘footing the bill’ for the grandiose dreams of a privileged few.
What exactly is $35 million of “equity” anyway?? The public is funding 80% of this project (if it stops at $175 million), and will be funding losses for years.
