Commonwealth Court judge gives Harrisburg City Council $7,500 to defend itself against Receiver William Lynch

HARRISBURG PATRIOT-NEWS: Commonwealth Court Judge Bonnie Brigance Leadbetter has ordered Harrisburg Receiver William Lynch to provide City Council with $7,500 to hire an attorney to defend itself during a hearing requested by Lynch..

When council asked Lynch to free up money so it could hire local attorney Neil Grover to defend itself during the previously scheduled hearing, he refused the request.

Council must only use the $7,500 to pay for attorney fees incurred in defending itself against Lynch’s cour petition, Leadbetter said in an order she issued today…  (more)
