Reading about the county head of human relations being let go, I just had to shake my head. While the article said very little, it is interesting to not see an editorial about the lack of the commissioners’ ability to keep and hire quality people.
The head of HR that the past board hired was excellent, and this current board knew it. They just couldn’t get away with some of the things they wanted to with her. I view her dismissal as politics – not based on how well she did or not do her job.
I believe this is now four heads of departments that have left now under their watch.
