Brzezinski: War With Iran Could Last Years, Devastate Global Economy

NEWSMAX:  Former National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski warns Newsmax.TV that a confrontation with Iran would be disastrous for the United States, lasting for years and possibly devastating America’s economy.

“A war in the Middle East, in the present context, may last for years,” Brzezinski, who served in the Carter White House, tells Newsmax in an exclusive interview. “And the economic consequences of it are going to be devastating for the average American.

EDITOR:  A native Iranian ex patriot who recently visited Iran for two months reports that the majority of the public is highly sympathetic to the USA and opposed to their own government.  Our best approach to Iran may well be ‘benign neglect.’   Let the people overthrow the government as is occurring throughout the Middle East.
