But Biden said that while the U.S. was prepared to support Ukraine in its attempts to secure a unified country, he urged Ukrainians to “fight the cancer of corruption that is endemic in your system right now.”

If I was a Ukrainian, Joe Biden’s words would not give me great comfort. It reminds me of two quotes. “Words are words, promises are promises, explanations are explanations but only performance is reality” – Harold Geneen and “It does no good for sheep to pass resolutions on vegetarianism when the wolves think otherwise” – Unknown.
Putin is on the move and given the political and economic climate, the West cannot do much about it.
