Awesome efficiency by Lancaster Township

Within about an hour of a 7:00 AM loud snap and the capsizing of a 40’ high tree across North School Lane Hills Road  just off Marietta Avenue, a Lancaster Township road crew had removed the tree from the street onto the right-of-way and were carefully sweeping the cart way.
Shortly after the downing, the street blockages was reported to the Manheim Township Police force which contracts with the Township.   They in turn alerted the appropriate Township officials.

As a veteran real estate developer and manager, the editor has often noted that management of township and boroughs are often more competent and dedicated  than many who hold more prestigious positions with cities and states.   For example, he has more than once witnessed a borough or township  manager driving a plow truck in the middle of a huge snow storm.

Accolades to Township Manager William Laudien and his staff.
