Auditor general takes Legislature to task

PHILLY BLURBS:   It was the legislative pay raise scandal of 2005 that prompted Eugene DePasquale to run for the state House.

But if you want to raise the ire of Pennsylvania’s new auditor general, just ask him about the 2001 pension enhancements that boosted the retirement package of state lawmakers by 50 percent and increased pensions by 25 percent for 300,000 active state workers and teachers.
