AOL excels in news coverage and features

The Watchdog’s progeny, colleagues at work, and friends have long looked down their noses at AOL, preferring other services.

They may be correct when it comes to speed, but the news and features coverage at AOL has become so outstanding as to compete head on with USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.  Their coverage is less predictable, very relevant, and often more interesting.

This is probably due to its Time Warner ownership.

If they keep this up, the downward trend in AOL’s  share of the market may be reversed.
