Announce it late and don’t give a time

Intelligencer Journal New Era article “Lancaster city, EPA to talk going ‘green’ ” reports:

Lancaster Mayor Rick Gray this morning will be joined by Shawn Garvin, regional administrator of the federal Environmental Protection Agency, to talk about the benefits of “green” infrastructure…

“This morning’s meeting is being held at 317 N. Mulberry St., a former tobacco warehouse recently renovated into condominium units. The renovation included construction of a “green” alley that allows rainwater drainage.”

Is it just slip shod reporting that the time isn’t given or a desire that no one show up?

  1. Somebody should ask Mayor Gray about maintenance costs, ROI, and the selection criteria for “greening.”

  2. Not only is this a classic (albeit too typical) example of LNP’s slip shod reporting; it is also another prime example of their cow-towing to anything Mayor Gray wants. When will LNP do a REAL investigation/reporting of ALL the ramifications (present and future costs to citizens and property owners), along with supposed benefits?

LNP chooses instead to inform their readership that the Amish Mafia reality show is a fake……who knew?????????!!!!!!

LNP is losing more credibility with each passing issue. Hardly worth the subscription price, and the time it takes to leaf through it. Still good for birdcage lining though!!!
