Amtrak service to New York may resume as early as Monday

Amtrak said on Thursday that limited service between Philadelphia and New York could resume on Monday, with full service by Tuesday. In the meantime, the suspension is disrupting one of the busiest transportation corridors in the nation.

For those who urgently needed to travel along the East Coast, avoiding the ground by taking to the air seemed the best bet — if they could secure a ticket and afford the cost… (more)
