Two of Lancaster County's commissioners are warning taxpayers that the convention center will raise their taxes.
According to Henderson and Shellenberger, the Convention Center Authority is planning to borrow an additional $14 million and won't have the income to cover it.
"We can see the numbers and they don't match up. When you spend too much money and don't bring enough in, you have shortfall," said Henderson. "That's called debt. Who has to make that up? Taxpayers."
