"In his lengthy cross-examination, which was continuing at press time, Kelin led Hixson to establish that Shellenberger and Henderson did nothing to drive up the costs of the project in 2004 and early 2005.
"Hixson also acknowledged that he did not tell the authority board or the public that PricewaterhouseCoopers, which had performed an early feasibility
(sic) study, withdrew its support for the study last year."
