HARRISBURG PATRIOT-NEWS: Like bulls in a cage, state lawmakers are ready to charge forward with city takeover legislation as the Senate reconvenes today.
Their rage over Harrisburg’s inability to come together on a fiscal recovery plan escalated last week when the City Council filed a petition for Chapter 9 municipal bankruptcy.
Lawmakers said the filing will not stop them from taking over the city as the House-amended version of the takeover bill could be adopted as early as today…. (more)
