I can think of few people more qualified to represent the public interest than Randolph Carney. He has shown a consistent commitment to oversight of important governmental and quasi-governmental institutions that is not matched by anyone locally, to my knowledge.
He has an incisive, analytical mind that allows him to understand extremely arcane municipal projects like convention centers and other enterprises. He then, with great care and fidelity, shares this information with the public.
He has donated literally thousands of hours of his life to documenting and disseminating facts about important events in Lancaster city.
He is a well-spoken, modest person, whose personal integrity, to my knowledge, is not impugnable.
I would not only support him, but would aid in his election in any way I could.
Lancaster School District would be very fortunate to have Randolph Carney elected to its board.
