Student says Gov. Corbett has threatened Penn State Trustees

EDITOR:  The initial two-dozen  of an ongoing string of comments  appeared on a Penn State message  board.  We have redacted the names of the senders.

COMMENT ONE:  I cannot confirm this in any way.. But my dad told me today that one of his co-workers is close friends to one of the board members. (I won’t say who) But this board member told this guy that Tom Corbett has threatened to come down hard on the business’ run by the individual trustees (Merck, US Steel, North Penn Pipe and Supply etc.) if the trustees do not ratify the sanctions. This trustee hates the sanctions and wants to fight them, but is scared to death about what Corbett could do to their company.. Other trustees feel the same way.. I think we need to look into this.. If this is true, we need to go to the press and get that scum bag out of Harrisburg.

COMMENT TWO:    I wouldn’t put it past him… He appears to be pure evil. Not meant as a political statement.

COMMENT THREE:   I wouldn’t either….. can we get some media outlet investigating this, please

COMMENT FIVE:   I can’t imagine Corbett has much pull over huge corps such as Merck and US Steel

COMMENT SIX:   He could for branches that reside in the state of PA

COMMENT SEVEN:  He certainly could!!

COMMENT EIGHT:  I certainly wouldn’t take this possibility lightly, as they are almost 20% of the vote

COMMENT EIGHT:   Corbett plays favorites. Shale oil contributed to his campaign, so now shale oil pays no taxes and can drill in your front yard, and no contamination illness can be made public. Likewise, he would triple tax others businesses that are opposed to Corbett. Until he’s run out of office, we have to publicize him.

COMMENT NINE:   What would be nice is if said trustee would come forward. Best way to prevent any action like that from happening is to shine light on it.

COMMENT TEN:   Won’t that make him look even more guilty? Might just be what we need to get enough interest to start investigating his role in all of this… He needs to be out of office sooner rather than later!

COMMENT ELEVEN:  To cover up his part in this, he most definitely will. Corbett doesn’t want to search for the truth, because HE is part of it !

COMMENT TWELVE:   If this is true…then it is obvious there is a cover-up regarding the whole situation

COMMENT THIRTEEN:  The only chance we have is to investigate this and, if found true, we need to go to every media outlet on this planet.

COMMENT FOURTEEN:   I hate to sound like a b^&*$ here, but if this guy is saying that to you dad and he lets it happen, he’s not fit to siT.

COMMENT FIFTEEN:  We definitely need to get news investigators to start digging around. They will be able to find something.

COMMENT SIXTEEN:  He’s an ultimate game player, he could do it without appearing to do so.

COMMENT SEVENTEEN:  Well I don’t know he’s dodged a ton of criticism already.. He a politician.. Beware.

COMMENT EIGHTEEN:   I have written to, and replied back from : Gene Wojciechowski and Ivan Maisel – both from ESPN, and they seem to have an ear for following up on this

COMMENT NINETEEN:   Unless said trustee is willing to go public (before the fact, not after) there is no point to him telling this story.

COMMENT TWENTY:   when did you write to them

COMMENT TWENTY-ONE:  I knew he was silent for a reason.. and I also figured that this is what as going on…if it is true and get some b&lls and do the right thing bit.. don’t they think that whistleblowing on Corbett will actually benefit them versus rolling over?

COMMENT TWENTY-TWO….setting excuses in place to justify actions.

COMMENT TWENTY-THREE:  unless he/she goes public, I have to agree with Edward Bender.

COMMENT TWENTY-FOUR:   Don’t put it past him.. he is a vengeful man…he went to court to get names on twitter accounts of people that were bad talking him during his campaign…he is a lot like tripponey…
