NEWSMAX: Despite the push-back from many in the GOP, a new poll has found deep support for President Barack Obama’s executive order offering amnesty provisions to some illegal alien residents, The Hill reported.

The Nov. 19-20 poll of 800 likely 2016 voters by Hart Research Associates found that 67 percent viewed as favorable Obama’s decision to act alone — rather than wait for legislative action by Congress — to slow down deportations of law-abiding immigrants who had been in the U.S. for a time. The Hart pollsters noted that the support for Obama’s actions incorporated “a majority of voters in every region of the country, among both men and women, and in states won by both Barack Obama (67 percent favorable) and Mitt Romney (65 percent favorable). Younger voters under age 35 express particularly strong support (72 percent), but more than 60 percent feel favorable in every age cohort.”… (more)
