In defense of ‘Daddy Justice’

I am someone who has had the honor of spending two years around Ben Vonderheide, aka “Daddy Justice.” His case is exactly as stated.

Ben went to expose corruption which was happening in the Berks County Courthouse. In trying to expose the truth, he was charged with Disorderly Conduct, even though a police officer who was much louder, shouting curse words, and jumping around, was not charged. Over the past two years I have witnessed the, “Reading Railroad” first-hand…

As Ben went further up the ladder of appeals, he was given increased punishment. In Judge Linda Ludgate’s courtroom, we were surrounded by 8 sheriff deputies, and Sheriff Weaknecht himself, 3 DA’s, and countless other government employees…all for a Disorderly Conduct charge.

We were also intimidated and threatened. I am from out west, and it is appalling to see how PA government preys on it’s citizens, in both Lancaster and Berks County. They use tax dollars to abuse their citizens.

Ben is a true hero. Lancaster and Berks Counties need a hero. Yes, Ben is hated by many lawyers, judges, politicians, police, feminists, and child protective services. There are just as many who admire him for his brave tactics, in exposing government abuse..

While Daddy Justice is certainly a lightening rod, hated and loved, he has people at least discussing the unpopular issues.

Ben is criticized for his tactics, but can you think of anyone else who has made an impact in family law, in Lancaster, as Daddy justice has?

It is not a business for Ben, and there is no pay for fighting the system, on behalf of the underdogs. He carries his camera to protect himself and his rights. I have seen and heard him talk many a father “off the cliff,” and away from violent action, when they’ve lost everything to the system.

Make your own decision after watching his videos. It’s easy to criticize from the safety of your computer, while Ben risks his very life, fighting for your freedom and rights. He is a brave soul, and he doesn’t get paid for his work.

Incidentally, I am a woman.

  1. Besides inspiring the lawyers, judges, politicians, police, feminists, and child protective services to employ additional security and place additional barriers to keep him at bay, exactly what change has Ben Vonderhide actually inspired that has improved fathers’ rights in the past five years?

Any legislative changes? Court opinions? Community resources? Bully tactics do not work.

    Incidentally, I am a man.

  2. Bully tactics work just fine when employed by corrupt officials like the ones you referenced above. BUT they don’t work nearly as well when one courageous man shines some sunshine on the filthy cesspool which is in question here. …this kind of truth-to-power courage always creates big changes over time…whether or not they are immediately obvious.

  3. I know Ben and know he has an uncompromising level of integrity and honesty. I was victimized by Lancaster’s Judicial racket for misdemeanor offenses stemming from the disease of addiction to alcohol. I thank God I left that town 10 yrs.ago because it was Philadelphia’s Judicial system that genuinely helped me by offering me treatment. I am grateful to see my friend continuing to expose the blind halls of justice in that county. I am glad I am no longer a resident of Lancaster.
