Free speech vs anonymity.

The New York Times reports:

“Democrats want to name President Trump’s big donors. His supporters say it’s harassment.”

The Supreme Court has ruled that the First Amendment to the Constitution allows individuals or corporations to make unlimited political donations. Sad ruling, but so be it.

But there is nothing in the Constitution, or at least the Supremes have not so stated yet, that guarantees anonymity concerning such donations.

If someone “says” it, let them own up to it.
