This a no-Brainer health issue they should support.
Relatively low cost [with] powerful/direct impact on health and crime throughout the county.
The hospital certainly treats the byproducts and symptoms associated with drug addiction [no plausible deniability here] but refuses to cross local political dogma and treat the cause.
Congrats on finally getting them to [prescribe] Suboxone round these parts – I have personally witnessed the relief this gives addicts and the fact that they are more likely to stop heroin if they know they can get Suboxone as opposed to being forced to get strung out on methadone.
