How to post comments on NewsLanc

NewsLanc has always welcomed letters from our readers. With our new format, we now also welcome comments that can be read right alongside an article itself.

A series of four boxes are listed at the end of each article. The first box requires a name and readers are welcome to put Anonymous in this box.

The second box requests an email address. As with the name, readers are welcome to put in an email address that does not exist so as not to reveal their real email address to NewsLanc’s staff. It must, however, be written as an email address (e.g. Anon@aol.com), or an error message will be received stating that an email address is required.

The third box can be left blank.

The fourth box is for the comment.

It is not NewsLanc’s practice to post submitter’s name or email address.

"....I have never made it a consideration whether the subject was popular or unpopular, but whether it was right or wrong; for that which is right will become popular, and that which is wrong, though by mistake it may obtain the cry or fashion of the day, will soon lose the power of delusion, and sink into disesteem." Thomas Paine, Common Sense, on "Financing the War", March 5, 1782
