Councilman Joe Morales in conflict of interest?

NewsLanc received the following from what we consider a reliable source:

“City Councilman Joe Morales—who in a conflict of interest gets paid to run the private surveillance company Lancaster Community Safety Coalition—stepped down from the Public Safety Committee tonight. More details in tomorrows news?”

The answer is no. Not in the morning Intelligencer New Era. Not on LancasterOnline.com.

It has become increasingly clear that not only has investigating reporting gone by the wayside with the local newspapers, but there is little reported locally other than crime…the type of one person against another.

Moreover,  when it comes to crime against the taxpayers by the privileged few, who are made out as paragons of virtue by the lackey newspapers, one must turn to NewsLanc.com.

Thomas Paine, Common Sense, on "Financing the War", March 5, 1782
